Chief Executive Officer
As the CEO, Les Paschall brings over 20 years of creative leadership experience in the development, management, and coordination of cost-effective health care services in five major health provider venues. He has championed new models of need-based healthcare services for large hospital systems, state health, and education systems, as well as serving as an advisor to the Governor’s Task Force on Mental Health. He is adept at reviewing various systems crossing the private and public sector while successfully creating solutions to their common goals. He also brings business acumen to CFG, which was recognized in business publications as one of the top 25 fastest growing businesses in New Jersey.
Chief Financial Officer
Michael Panisak comes to CFG with over 16 years of experience in management, accounting, and finance for both small and large healthcare systems. He has a history of successfully streamlining operations and improving bottom line profit growth. He is also well versed in mergers and acquisitions of for-profit and non-profit organizations. As CFO, Mr. Panisak plays an integral role in the company’s management team. He is responsible for implementing and supervising internal controls and driving strategic financial decisions.
Chief Operating Officer
Al Campana has over 26 years of clinical and administrative management experience in the healthcare field. In the role as COO, he is responsible for business operations to include the fiscal development of proposals, contracts and monitoring of performance. Mr. Campana brings to the table extensive hospital administration credentials, coupled with significant healthcare management experience. Mr. Campana is responsible for CFG’s healthcare line of business. In addition, he is adept at developing functional organizational structures and has considerable experience with electronic information systems, including the development and implementation of electronic medical records systems.
James R. Varrell, M.D.
James R. Varrell, M.D. is the President and Medical Director of the CFG Health Network and InSight Telepsychiatry. Dr. Varrell is American Board certified in Psychiatry and Neurology, and certified in American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry with a specialty in autism. Dr. Varrell has been at the forefront of telepsychiatry across the nation and continues to educate the medical community regarding the benefits of telepsychiatry through various presentations and forums as a panelist and presenter. Recent presentations have included engagements with the American Psychiatric Association, the National Rural Health Association, the American Telemedicine Association, and multiple Grand Rounds presentations. Dr. Varrell preformed the nation’s first involuntary psychiatric commitment via a televideo unit in 1999. Today, Dr. Varrell still regularly performs telepsychiatry evaluations and manages a staff of telepsychiatrists who see and treat individuals in 26 states.
Maasi Shamilov, M.D.
Associate Medical Director of CFG
Maasi Shamilov, M.D. is the Associate Medical Director of the CFG Health Network. Dr. Shamilov American Board certified in Psychiatry and Neurology and certified in American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Shamilov has been with the CFG Health Network since its founding in 1997 and has been regularly preforming psychiatric evaluations via telepsychiatry in a variety of settings since 1999.
