During December 2017 and January 2018, REACH Health, co-sponsored by InSight Telepsychiatry, conducted the 2018 U.S. Telemedicine Industry Benchmark Survey among healthcare executives, physicians, nurses and other professionals throughout the United States. One hundred and ninety-five (195) respondents noted they have an active Behavioral Health telemedicine program, comprising 47% of the four hundred and eleven (411) individuals who participated in the survey. Participants provided input related to their priorities, objectives and challenges, telemedicine program models and management structures, clinical specialties, service lines and settings of care, and their telemedicine platforms. This fourth annual report examines the survey results, including detailed findings such as the telemedicine program attributes that are most highly correlated with success.
This report analyzes the responses from participants with active Behavioral Health telemedicine programs and their variations from the responses in the comprehensive survey.
